Cupcake Season...

 Nothing says the Holidays are around more than desserts! I had the privilege shoot a session with the dessert queen Jenny Johnson of Vintage Sugar Cube earlier this year.  She makes fabulous desserts and has the personality to go with them! This was a perfect day. Not only did I get to photograph my first CA wedding I got to watch Kathryn my dear friend from MN marry a great man. Everyone had a great time, and as you can see in the photos below we had kisses, dancing, & shots! Kathryn and Barry you are truly made for one another and I wish you a life filled with crazy first dances, laughter and love.

Welcome to MC photography's blog! My name is Mary and I am a photographer living in San Diego.  I'm originally from MN and recently moved to CA to experience new adventures. So far I've succeeded... I've done it all.. worked a ton of jobs to support my photo career, traveled around this new crowded yet beautiful state and now today am shooting my first CA wedding. I am SO excited so I thought what a great time to start blogging.
